Our program is a comprehensive 12 week course teaching our
students
to become qualified dental assistants ready for employment. We will even offer training in the process of job interviews and
preparation.
Our lecture room uses state-of-the-art audio-visual PowerPoint equipment to make the learning experience
both interesting and enjoyable. The lecture and clinic sessions are held at our dental office which has the absolute
latest in dental technology, including digital x-rays, CEREC CAD-CAM, and state-of-the-art treatment room equipment.

The course is designed to give the student maximum "hands-on"
training and experience in an actual practing dental office. The teaching is stimulating, fast paced, and relies heavily
on individual participation. Each group is no larger than one instructor per ten students. This ensures personal
attention and a worthwhile learning experience. You will not have time to be bored.
Our Faculty
Dr. Lynn Davis Herpy is the Executive
Director of Contemporary Dental Assisting. She has been practicing dentistry in Barberton, OH since 1991.
Her practice
encompasses all aspects of dentistry and she is enthusiastic
about sharing her knowledge with students.
Tisha Kruszewski, Certified Dental Assistant, is the Education
Director of Contemporary Dental Assisting.
In addition to instruction of our Dental Assisting Course, Tishas is a full time dental assistant and hold a dental polishing
license in the state of Ohio. In the coming year, Tisha will be entering a university program to become an EFDA, which
will enable her to place dental restorations.
